Everyone looked well over and beyond our expectations. The guesthouse we stayed at the very first night was great and the food was really great too. Our guides did the greatest job and they were quite entertaining too! We loved tajine, the fresh salads, soups and the food was astounding. Every meal was really great! Many thanks for helping us organise this tour in making our trip so brilliant, and thanks to everyone involved!

The Moroccan is creating a combined attempt to train people about the surroundings. There's lots of litter in Morocco and it really is a slow procedure encouraging people to alter habits and to eventually become more environmentally aware. Plastic bags were banned a year ago and that has made a major change. We bring rubbish to collect as you go along when we venture off the beaten track to really remote shores.

Prominent visitors on the years were Jimi Hendrix, Winston Churchill and Orson Welles. In the past week of June each year they hold a Music festival called Gnaoua here, each year. Labelled by some as the Moroccan Woodstock, it has a mixture of Gnaoua, Jazz, Reggae and Rock music.

See to its ramparts and the Port of Essaouira, the old Medina and?Scala?. In an area Essaouira restaurant you will eat fresh fish in the Port. You'll have the chance of earning a camel trekking ride on the beach (not included).

To whoever seeks a genuine Moroccan experience its doors open. Our guests will love watching the sun rise from behind the snow capped Atlas Mountains or witness it set in the desert dunes beyond. It's the right hideaway for couples, the ideal holiday for families, a location for groups of an advanced space for corporate meetings, special events and celebrations and friends.

We then plan ahead for the 2nd day and could determine where to go on the 1st day. A superb induction into the foothills. My husband is thinking of returning in another year to perhaps scale Mt Toubkal. The picnic lunch was excellent with wonderful mint tea provided. We did not want 1/3 of the food provided.

Though we did find a pothole of bike swallowing percentages which someone had been good enough to stick a tree branch into the trip to Kaolack was here uneventful. This road deteriorates some miles and starts nicely. Survey crews will work along it in the moment, in advance of a brand new road being built. We also discovered in Kaolack the challenging Tambacounda to Kaolack road is also being rebuilt.

This time it was the dearth of interest of the staff about the guests. When you eat the breakfast in this astounding small >palaceappreciate it. When they let a guest come with a towel around his waste to consume breakfast, the ambiance ( at least for us) is completely spoiled. And for those who have lot of families with crying children - the same thing. The high-end peaceful heaven, which you pay a lot of cash for, is gone, Just another hotel that was standard. I'm not sure we shall see anymore.

It is but one of the oldest Moroccan cities, previously named Mogador. The old Medina of Essaouira is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site, It's known for its Gnaoua music festival each year on June, a Day trip to Essaouira makes the visitor think about staying longer in this medieval town that was friendly, relaxing.

The tour would add a visit to Ait benhaddou, the stone formations at Dades and Todra Gorge and a specific Ksar visit en-route to Merzouga. The Dades valley is breathtaking location of fortified palaces stone formations and a glorious valley of fruit, wheat and silver birch trees. The Skoura palmearie nestles near the Atlas mountains. A huge section of palm groves harbours crumbling Kasbahs and narrow trails. Certainly the highlight is a camel trek into the Sahara remaining in a desert camp overnight. The cost for the tour is £650/8000DH/ based on two people travelling, staying in en suite accommodation in great hotels, including meals(desert night is included). The hotels have exceptional food. The tour car will be a Toyota 4×4.

Guide - Marrakech.. In the army... so I hope this description locates him back!)We LOVED Marrakech !!! He knew just just how to drive us to our limits, but not over strain us while trekking the difficult terrain. We loved learning regarding the mountain method of day to day living, and were absolutely taken back and humbled when he shared some of his personal family stories with us. Our heart melted for him and we thank him for so many great conversations during our 3 day hiking experience.

The rest of the trip: well, Chez Momo was wonderful and good food, but we didn't really need to just hang around by the pool after the previous days' trekking. Thus Mohamad was called by us and arranged the trip up. It was fine that we were able to do that and pay afterwards. I believe Chez Momo's not on your usual itineraries. When it is, a couple ideas about things to do in the area could have helped - even just anywhere and how to walk down to the hamlet to visit inside. They were not able to do that in the reception there (I suppose most guests are simply there for the relax).

I can't say enough to commend Marrakech! His knowledge of the state is great! He is polite and kind...his English is very good so that was so helpful in communicating. For girls traveling, I felt Marrakech was that security blanket which is really great to travel in areas so different from the U.S. I aspire to make use of them again on a future visit to Morocco and would strongly recommend Marrakech and his company .
